Meet Kandyce.

Welcome, I’m glad you’re here.

I believe therapy can be a soft landing place—a space where you can feel genuinely seen, express and process what you carry, and reconnect with the freedom to live a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you. I use a Humanistic-Existential framework to help clients explore questions of purpose, identity, meaning, freedom, choice, and the existential angst and dread that can arise when the life we are living no longer feels aligned with who we are becoming. I see therapy as an opportunity to deepen self-understanding, honor your lived experience, and explore what it means to create a life that reflects your values and sense of purpose.

My approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support greater psychological flexibility, self-compassion, and freedom from patterns that may keep you feeling stuck. ACT helps you identify what matters most and take meaningful action even when difficult thoughts and emotions are present, while IFS offers a compassionate way to understand the different parts of yourself that have developed in response to life experiences, including protective patterns, shame, fear, and self-doubt. Through a multicultural and Womanist lens, I also recognize that our struggles do not exist in isolation. Family histories, cultural expectations, systems of oppression, relationships, and intergenerational experiences can shape how we understand ourselves and what we believe is possible.

I work especially well with creatives, artists, advocates, educators, spiritually inclined individuals, and people who are seeking greater personal freedom and alignment with their purpose. I welcome those who are questioning old definitions of success, identity, relationships, spirituality, or what it means to live a fulfilling life. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship or attachment wounds, childhood trauma, academic or professional stress, or simply feel called toward deeper self-discovery, therapy can provide a space to explore what is underneath the surface and determine what comes next.

This is an invitation to become rooted in your existence. Together, we can make room for creativity, self-compassion, healthy connection, personal growth, sustainability, and purpose as you move toward a more authentic and liberated way of living.
